Are the signatures legally binding?
Yes. Typr uses eIDAS e-signatures — both simple (SES) and advanced (AES) — every one timestamped and logged. Sign on your screen on site, or send it to the other party's phone for remote signing. The same legal weight as ink, none of the print-sign-scan.
Where is my data stored, and is it GDPR-compliant?
Typr is GDPR-compliant and hosted in Switzerland. Your documents, photos and signatures are held on Swiss infrastructure.
Does Typr work offline?
You can prepare and edit your documents offline — in a basement, a crawlspace, a dead zone. Dictation needs a connection, so the voice step runs when you have signal; everything else works without one, and the signed PDF sends the moment you're back in coverage.
Do I have to use Typr's templates, or can I bring my own?
Your own. Use the forms your company already runs — your daily, your check-in, your claim sheet — and fill them by voice. Build your own from scratch, or start from the 100+ ready-made templates. Either way it's your wording, not Typr's.
Will documents carry our own branding and letterhead?
Yes — at launch, your custom branding and letterhead go out on every document. The PDF goes out on your paper, not Typr's.
